A hospitality site is only as convincing as its booking flow.

Vision

Most hospitality websites treat the booking engine as an afterthought — a third-party widget bolted onto an otherwise carefully designed brand site. The visual language stops the moment the guest tries to book, and the resulting drop in trust costs the property direct revenue in favor of commission-charging OTAs.

THEORY

Building a Site That Sells the Stay

Most hospitality websites treat the booking engine as an afterthought — a third-party widget bolted onto an otherwise carefully designed brand site. The visual language stops the moment the guest tries to book, and the resulting drop in trust costs the property direct revenue in favor of commission-charging OTAs.

Borgo Ondara was built on the opposite premise: the booking flow is a first-class design surface, not an integration afterthought. Room cards, rate plans, fee disclosures, and the cart summary all inherit from the same typographic and spacing system as the homepage — so a guest never feels like they've left the brand's world to complete a reservation.

That decision shaped the technical architecture as much as the visual one. Room and rate data are modeled consistently across the site and the booking flow, so a "Book Now" click from any room card carries its selection all the way through to checkout, rather than dropping the guest into a generic, unfiltered room list.

The result is a prototype built specifically to be handed to a hotel owner as a working pitch — not a static mockup, but a site that demonstrates, end-to-end, how a direct booking actually converts.
